The inaugural award and recognition night of aesthetics and wellness experts was a display of glitz and glamour.
The professionals gathered under the aegis of the Association of Practitioners of Spa and Medical Aesthetics of Nigeria, APSMAN, to honour their deserving members at a grand ceremony held at 3699 Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The ceremony aptly tagged APSMAN Beauty and Wellness Industry Recognition Award was an opportunity to recognise and appreciate some medical aestheticians and spa owners in Nigeria for their far-reaching work in the beauty industry and their entrenchment of the high level of standardization in the burgeoning beauty industry.
A total of 26 awards in various categories were given to deserving recipients including veterans in the industry, including one posthumous recognition award presented to the late Pamela Olatunji Bello, founder of B Natural Med Spa.
Other notable recipients at the award night include Anuoluwapo Hannah Obafemi, Freda Francis, Sandra Sylvester, Dr Beatrice Mealie, Deji Esan, Dr Abiola Idowu, Dr Danoel Olayinka, Dr Ambrose Nwachie, Blessing Ekanem, Dr Femi Oladeji, Matilda Ajogbu and Collins Okwu.
