A 16-year-old boy allegedly forced his way into a home during a sleepover and fatally stabbed another teenager.
Alexander Warren Hernandez showed up unannounced at a home in Wildwood, Florida, shortly after 10pm on Saturday and ‘banged’ on the door, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The sleepover host, Connor Michael Gill, 15, unlocked the door and Hernandez entered and stabbed him and threatened another person, stated the sheriff’s office on Sunday on Facebook.
An adult ‘came to inspect what was going on and was also stabbed by the suspect’, stated the office.

First responders tended to both stabbing victims at the scene and they were airlifted to nearby hospitals for further care.
Connor was pronounced dead at 1.19am.
‘This was no doubt a premeditated and targeted attack,’ said Undersheriff Pat Breeden.
Hernandez was seen running away from the scene and was spotted by a sheriff’s office helicopter and taken into custody.

He has been charged with premediated first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intending to kill and armed burglary.
The adult victim continued to be treated at the hospital.
Both Hernandez and Connor were being home schooled after leaving the Sumter County School District, according to the sheriff’s office.
Hernandez walked nearly six miles to get to the victims’ home.
His motive was not immediately clear.
Anyone with information on the crime is urged to contact the sheriff’s office.
The fatal stabbing happened three-and-a-half years after another deadly stabbing involving a suspect also named Alexander Hernandez. Hernandez, 19 at the time of the January 2021 incident, allegedly stabbed his sleeping four-month-old cousin 16 times and killed her in her home in Fremont, Nebraska. A relative heard the baby’s screams and another resident at the home wrestled the knife away. The suspect reportedly had come off prescribed depression medication just before the brutal attack.
