A teenage girl who was pulled from a Florida theme park pool has died.
Anna Beaumont, 13, was discovered in one of multiple pools at Discovery Cove in Orlando late morning on Tuesday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to reports shortly before 11.30am and rushed the teen in critical condition to a nearby hospital.
Anna died at the hospital, the sheriff’s office said on Wednesday.

Her cause of death was determined as accidental drowning by a medical examiner’s office.
Anna’s death remains under investigation.
Discovery Cove is a sister park of SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando.
It is an ‘all-inclusive day resort where you and your family can enjoy a one-of-a-kind opportunity to swim with dolphins, snorkel with thousands of tropical fish and rays, hand-feed exotic birds and unwind on pristine beaches’, states its website.

‘With no lines throughout the park, you can plan your adventure at your own pace.’
A Discover Cove spokesperson stated that its ‘staff responded to an emergency involving a guest’ and that they contacted Orange County Fire & Rescue.
‘When emergency personnel arrived, they took over care and transported the guest to a nearby hospital,’ the spokesperson told WESH.

‘Our thoughts are with this family, and out of respect for their privacy, we won’t be commenting further.’
Anna’s death comes a year after a three-year-old boy was pulled from a four-foot deep section of a pool at Camp Cohen Water Park in El Paso, Texas. The toddler was transported to a hospital and died the following day. His mother was accused of being preoccupied on her phone for hours as he drowned.
And on the Fourth of July, a five-year-old boy flew out of the Twist-N-Shout water slide at Lake Winnepesaukah in Georgia. The boy fell an estimated 20 feet and the theme park confirmed that the child was riding in a double tube at the time of the incident. The boy was treated on site and taken to a children’s hospital, with injuries that were not immediately known.
