A man allegedly killed and dismembered his sister because he believed she was not innocent anymore.
Jack Joseph Ball, 23, is accused of murdering Bethany Ann Israel, 30, and her unborn child who was in her womb for four months, according to police.
Israel’s mother called 911 shortly after 11pm on May 23 saying that she found a large amount of blood at a home on the 1700 block of Encina Path and that her daughter could be dead.
Responding officers arrived at the home in Lakeville, Minnesota, to find a pool of blood on the kitchen floor and a ‘bloody saw, hatchet, and large, bloody, knives’, according to a criminal complaint obtained by FOX 9.

They discovered ‘several dismembered body parts’ in the home and another knife with blood in the living room.
Investigators also found multiple journals and papers belonging to Ball, including one in which he detailed his anger that his sister was pregnant and ‘no longer innocent’, reads the complaint.
As police searched for Ball, they received a 911 call from a Rosemount resident who said a Ring camera recorded a man putting what looked like a body part on the front step.
Cops apprehended Ball nearby and said he had a ‘self-inflicted knife wound across his throat’, according to the complaint. More body parts were found in the area.

‘Bethany was not only a cherished wife, daughter, sister, and an expectant mother but also a beloved figure in the volleyball community,’ states a GoFundMe page for her funeral expenses.
‘Bethany’s radiant spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.’
Ball has been charged with second-degree murder with intent as well as second-degree murder of an unborn child, according to court records. A judge set his bail at $2million and $1million without conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 10.
‘The allegations in this case are deeply disturbing and horrific – words can’t describe what our law enforcement partners encountered during the investigation,’ stated Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena.
The GoFundMe page had raised more than $30,000 as of Wednesday evening.
‘Her love for life, her family, and the friendships she nurtured are the legacies she leaves behind,’ states the page. ‘As a beacon of warmth and generosity, Bethany’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.’
