The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed sadness over the demise of the Controller of Nigeria Correctional Service, NCS in the state, Adeyinka Adebayo Oyun, who died on Saturday.
In a condolence message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir condoled the entire management and staff of the NCS in Kwara State over the loss.
Sulu-Gambari also extended his condolence to the Federal Government through the Minister for Interior, Olubunmi Ojo, the Comptroller General of the NCS, Haliru Nababa, the government and people of Kwara State over the unfortunate incident stressing that, “late Controller Adeyinka Adebayo Oyun died in active service for the nation.”
According to him, “The entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council share the grief of the demise of the NCS Controller, Adeyinka Oyun with his family members both immediate and extended, the people of Ipee community in Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State over the irreversible incident.
“We condole the deceased’s widow and children. Our hearts and prayers are with them at this auspicious moment. May his soul rest in peace,” the statement added.
