Richard Keys slammed Antony on the morning of the FA Cup final (Picture: beIN SPORTS)
Richard Keys has aimed a dig at ‘unforgivable’ Manchester United star Antony after he appeared to goad Coventry City players in the FA Cup.
The Red Devils booked their place in Saturday’s final for the second year in a row after narrowly squeezing past second-tier Coventry on penalties last month.
Straight after Rasmus Hojlund’s winning spot kick, United flop Antony turned to the Coventry players and cupped his ears to antagonise the Championship side.
Antony was immediately criticised for his actions as former Coventry star Clinton Morrison said: ‘He needs to worry about his own job instead of Coventry.
‘Some of his performances this season shows he could be playing in the Championship.’
Antony issued his own response after he was slammed over the incident and said: ‘The way our fans were treated by their player was not nice.
‘I, in the heat of the moment, reacted to the provocations in a natural defence of my club.’

Football pundit Keys is refusing to move on from Antony’s actions, though, and brought up the incident on Saturday morning ahead of United’s FA Cup final against Manchester City.
‘For the first time in history the s/f (semi-final) winners aren’t involved today,’ Keys posted on X, suggesting that Coventry were the true winners in the last four.
‘After Antony’s unforgivable antics following that game I hope City win another asterisk today. Join us to find out on @beINSPORTS_EN.’

Meanwhile, Keys also recently shared his thoughts on the reported fire sale United will be having in the upcoming summer transfer window.
It is thought that United are open to offers for almost every first-team player, although manager Erik ten Hag has strongly denied those rumours.
‘It’ll be interesting to see what (Man) Utd raise from their fire-sale,’ Keys added. ‘Who would buy any of them? You’d take (Scott) McTominay & gamble on a cut-price (Marcus) Rashford. (Harry) Maguire as well. As for the rest? [shrug emoji].’
