US lawmaker’s daughter and son-in-law killed in Haiti serving as missionaries

The daughter and son-in-law of a US politician have been killed in Haiti while serving as missionaries.

Missouri state Rep Ben Baker’s daughter Natalia, 21, and her husband Davy Lloyd, 23, were ‘attacked by gangs’ in Port-au-Prince on Thursday evening and died along with the director of their mission group, he wrote on Facebook.

‘My heart is broken in a thousand pieces. I’ve never felt this kind of pain,’ wrote the lawmaker.

‘They went to Heaven together. Please pray for my family we desperately need strength. And please pray for the Lloyd family as well. I have no other words for now.’

Lloyd was tied up and beaten as the gang reportedly looted the location and ran. Then another gang is believed to have found the victims.

‘This gang went into full attack mode,’ stated the missionary.

The couple were serving with Missions in Haiti Inc in Port-au-Prince. The organization was founded by which was founded by Lloyd’s parents in 2000.
