Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has presented a list of commissioner-nominees to the House of Assembly.
The nominees are expected to go through screening and get approval of the lawmakers.
They are scheduled to undergo screening today, Tuesday, by the Assembly members loyal to the governor.
Recall that some of the commissioners loyal to the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, resigned their positions following the breakdown of the President Bola Tinubu peace accord.
DAILY POST recalls that among them are the commissioners for education and housing, Professor Chinedu Mmon and Gift Worlu, respectively, who cited a toxic working environment as reason for their actions.
