All Progressives Congress (APC) executives of Galadima Ward in Gusau have withdrawn their suspension of the APC state chairman, Alhaji Tukur Dafulani.
Addressing newsmen in Gusau, chairman of Galadima Ward, Alhaji Sani Ibrahim, said the suspension was withdrawn after a reconciliation meeting with the some aggrieved members of the party.
He said legitimate members of the ward, who engaged in the suspension of the party chairman, were misled by some antics to cause confusion in the party.
Also, the APC chairman in Gusau local government, Abubakar Tijjani Dan’Aya, lauded the aggrieved members for withdrawing the suspension slammed on the party chairman.
Dan’Aya explained that the eight members in question were wrongly misled to suspend the party chairman.
“We have received the eight members who filed a notice of withdrawal of the purported suspension letter to the State APC Chairman”, he added.
He however said the executive committee of Galadima Ward has assured of their support to the state chairman, Alhaji Tukur Dafulani.
In his remarks, APC state secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, said as much as the suspension of the chairman was difficult to achieve considering the party’s constitutional provision, stakeholders, however, opted to pursue reconciliation instead.
