PDP Lawmaker Tells Tinubu To Fly Commercial Planes, Travel By Road

Member representing Balanga-Billiri Federal Constituency of Gombe State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ali Isa has advised President Bola Tinubu to use commercial aircraft or travel by road for his local trips.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker stated this while contributing to a motion sponsored by Chairman of the House Committee on National Security and Intelligence, Satomi Ahmed on the need to probe the status of the presidential fleet in Abuja on Wednesday.

Isa, at the plenary suggested that President Tinubu should suspend using the presidential aircraft and resort to chartered, commercial aircraft and even use road transport ‘if there is need.’

“Mr. Speaker, since an issue has been raised, I would advise that the president should suspend using the presidential aircraft; if there is a need, he can use either commercial or chartered aircraft,” Isa said in a circulating video.

The two-time Rep member explained that the President using road transport to travel within the country would give Nigerians the hope that the roads would be repaired soon.
