BREAKING: DSS arrests wanted Oyo transport union leader Auxilliary

The Department of State Services, DSS, on Tuesday reportedly arrested the embattled chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary.

A top government official told Leadership that Auxilliary was arrested by operatives of the secret police Tuesday afternoon.

The reason for the arrest cannot be ascertained at the moment.

Efforts by DAILY POST to reach the secret police failed as the DSS spokesman, Peter Afunnanya was unable to pick his calls.

The arrest is coming ten years after Auxiliary was arrested during the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.

It would be recalled that Auxilliary, who was at a point dreaded in Ibadan, the state’s capital, was arrested by the Ajimobi administration around the third week of May, 2014.

He was finally jailed in 2016 and released towards the tail end of the government in 2018.
