Zidane Turns Down Bayern Munich, Affirms Allegiance To Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has quashed rumours of his potential takeover at Bayern Munich, affirming his allegiance to Spanish champions elect.

Bayern Munich announced earlier this year that boss Thomas Tuchel would be parting ways with the Bavarians this summer and the club have been hard at work as they look for a replacement. Zidane has been linked with the free seat with the Bavarians, however, the legendary French midfielder has now clearly turned down the job publically.

Speaking to SkyDE, Zidane claimed that he was not in the running to become Thomas Tuchel’s replacement.

He added that Real Madrid would find it hard against Bayern Munich in the second leg, saying:

“No, it will not happen. I’m going to watch the game, I will cheer for Real Madrid and hopefully Real Madrid will win.
