The Employer’s Excellence Awards in partnership with Metro will take place in June in what promises to be a star-studded evening.
It will shine a light on organisations and people demonstrating best practice in the workplace and achievements from business trailblazers.
Ahead of the ceremony on June 13 in Liverpool, ceremony organisers have now revealed a shortlist of all the businesses and leaders nominated for awards.
These include big names like VISA, McDonald’s, Standard Chartered and EA Sports.
Jessica Hughes, part of the team putting the event together, said: ‘It is about time an event celebrating Britain’s best employers and employees took place and this is the first time it is happening on this scale.
‘These awards involve organisations and businesses large and small. We’ve had people nominating their workplace heroes, outstanding employers, best training and employee development initiatives as well as nominations for those demonstrating a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
‘The reaction has been incredible and we received over 1,500 individual public nominations largely helped by the support of Metro.co.uk.
‘The Employer’s Excellence Awards is going to be a fantastic event. The reaction has been phenomenal and it is now almost sold out as people come together for a major evening of celebrating the best workplaces in the UK.’
