Economic Hardship: Be patient with Tinubu-led government – Senator Eze

The Senator representating Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone of Ebonyi State, Ken Eze, has urged Nigerians to be patient with the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government.

Eze, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, said the nation’s economy will improve for the betterment of all Nigerians.

The senator stated this on Monday in Ngamgbo Ebiaji, Ezza North Local Government Area of the state.

He opined that there was much hope in the economy and that very soon, the masses will rejoice.

The former Chairman of Ezza South Local Government Area, who acknowledged that there is hardship in the country, further explained that there was nothing like that in the rural areas where the people are predominantly farmers living happily according to their pockets.

“The economy is thriving, the new government just resume close to a year now so you can not access the government now.

“With what we can feel, there is so much hope. In no distant time, the economy will come up

“These are predominantly farmers and they are close to their farmlands. So whatever you are experiencing in the urban is not being experienced here.

“They don’t want too much, what they want is to have their daily bread and they go to their farms, harvest their inputs and put the food on the table.

“So what you call hardship is not here because they are not used to living flashy lifestyles,” he stated.

He promised to pay attention to the grassroots through his programmes to improve their conditions.

“My focus is on the grassroots; I will make sure that all that we are doing is taken down to the grassroots.

“Our agenda is community-driven, these are the people that voted for us, these are the people we are representing. My programme will soon be rolled out and I will capture every polling unit in the senatorial zone.”
