Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle in a move aimed at enhancing efficiency and boosting key sectors in governance.
The governor, in the exercise has redeployed former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor SAN, to the Ministry of Special Duties within the Governor’s Office.
Similarly, Barr. Isaac Kamalu, formerly serving as Commissioner for Finance, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.
The redeployments are with immediate effect.
The Governor also directed all parties to facilitate seamless transitions with immediate handovers to their respective Permanent Secretaries.
Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo, in making the announcement stressed that all handover processes must be completed without delay.
Danagogo said the reorganisation reflects Governor Fubara’s proactive approach to governance by ensuring that the right individuals are placed in key positions to advance the state’s development objectives.
The administration reaffirms its commitment to delivering impactful governance and fostering sustainable growth and prosperity to all citizens of Rivers State.
