A primary school has been evacuated after a car ploughed into a wall as pupils started their day.
The crash is believed to have happened minutes after parents dropped their kids off at Beacon Church of England Primary School in Everton today.
The white hatchback punched through the brick wall and continued at least 10 feet into a room inside the school, leaving piles of rubble behind.
No children were present in the area of the collision, detectives say, and nobody was hurt besides a passenger in the car who sustained a minor injury.

‘The female driver of the car is being assessed at the scene,’ Merseyside Police added in a statement.
Some parents were said to have witnessed the incident as they left.
Pupils were sent home for the day, the Liverpool Echo reports, and police cordoned off the school and a stretch of the adjoining road.
Paramedics, fire crews and forensics vans were also seen at the site.
