Soludo’s son Ozonna latest album ‘take it slow’ makes waves

Unarguably, Ozonna Soludo, son of the Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Soludo has carved a niche for himself as his latest album ‘Take it slow’ gains attention locally and globally.

Since his debut in 2014, with Grammy award producers ,Scot Jacoby and Jimmy Grecio this album appears to have been his best as most international artist couldn’t help both commend his effort.

He was privileged onwards to perform alongside his favourite artists,Kyla Grange and Alice Gold while touring America,there was no stopping him afterwards.

According to Devon Jackson, American based singer,he described Ozonna as “The London raised artist is catchy, eclectic and possesses the self-assuredness and self-assertiveness one tends to see and hear only prodigies”.

Ozonna has emerged as one of the most original artists to come out of Nigeria, he simply surpasses imitation. His presence is both bold and endearing, tough but tender.

The RogersRevue described his sultry voice as “velvety smooth and hypnotic” and Live Jam TV gushed that his “smooth, silky voice had no flaw” as they watched a live performance.

His music is a combination of jazz and pop sang in a lyrical way which makes it irresistible.

‘Take It Slow’ manifests as an upbeat, dreamy composition demanding groovy sax, tantalising guitar riffs and creative ear candy complemented by an effortlessly intoxicating topline.

As the signature topline borrows the sinuous rhythms of jazz, fans are carried by an amapiano groove with sensitive ears being sure to prickle. Fusing teasing builds with Ozonna’s superbly smooth vocal, the uptempo, summery track is bound to get stuck in your head as the talent takes a deep dive into the sound of desire.
