It was all smiles amid jubilation at St Anthony Catholic Church Kabusa, Abuja when popular Nollywood screen beauty, Miss Grace Agbo celebrated her birthday with widows as a mark of identifying with those in need in the society.
Agbo who is an officer with Federal Fire Service had last April donated hundreds bags of food items and other food items to Benue State Internally Displaced Camp, said she was led by God to reach out to the widows this year.
The Nollywood act who was accompanied by her team members donated bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes paste, Maggie seasoning cubes and other consumables.
She said the harsh economic reality calls for all kind hearted Nigerians with the spirit of giving to care and provide for the vulnerable and those in need.
I was led to give to widows this time around. Last year it was IDP; it was just my way to celebrate with the widows. In this hard time we know they are facing a lot of challenges occasioned because of the difficult time.
They were so happy, they prayed for me. Even when I left their President Mrs Gladys Pascal called to pray me and showed appreciation”.
Agbo has feature in many blockbuster Nigeria movies and acted with top celebrities such as Kanayo. O. Kanayo, Ini-Edo, Genevieve Nnaji, Tonto Dike among other popular acts.
Some of the movies she featured include Black out, Haunted, Village Don, Do we call it love, The calabash among others.
