NAPPS President Tasks Nigerians On Unity Tolerance

As Muslim faithful celebrates Eid-el-Fitr, the president of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Dr Samira Jibir, has urged Nigerians to embrace peace and harmony in the interest of national security and development.

Jibir asked Muslim faithful to emulate the Holy Prophet Muhammad by imbibing the ideals of sacrifice exemplified by him, adding that Nigerians will return to the path of greatness and recovery sooner than later.

She called on Nigerians of all faiths to pray for peace and also provide moral support for the troops fighting daily to keep the federation safe and secure.

Jibir also urged Muslim faithful to pray against insecurity bedevilling the country and to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and sacrifice.

She said, “As such, we should use this period of worship to pray for our leaders, security agencies and the nation to prosper. As leaders, we will not be tired of calling on the citizens to continue to pray for our country, therefore, we should sustain more prayers for peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria.

“In these difficult times, let us be buoyed by faith and retain the hope that together we can make things better. Let us embrace the lesson of sacrifice and uphold peace and goodwill towards all.”
