Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola feels Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham is different to other players because of his high football IQ.
The young Englishman – one of the best midfielders in the world – is hoping to help the Spanish giants get revenge for last season’s Champions League meeting.
City defeated Real Madrid in the last four as they went on to land a historic treble last term and the sides face another showdown in this season’s quarter-finals.
The Premier League champions travel to the Bernabeu for the first leg on Tuesday as Guardiola faced the media on Monday, giving an important team news update.
The City boss confirmed Josko Gvardiol has travelled to Madrid but is a doubt for the game after missing training, while they’ll be without Kyle Walker in a key blow.
Guardiola was also quizzed about Bellingham and said: ‘What makes the difference is what he has in his head.
‘He’s having a brilliant season. [He is] very young. He has an impressive career ahead [of him].’

City’s star midfielder Rodri was at the press conference too, sharing his own thoughts on Bellingham ahead of the quarter-finals.
‘We already know Jude from the times we have met Borussia Dotmund,’ Rodri said. ‘We already know the type of player he is.
‘He is so powerful, with strength, and that ability to arrive in the second line. We already know. I don’t like to focus on one player. They have enormous potential across the pitch.’
