A young girl was taken to hospital after she was rescued from a lake.
The three-year-old had gone missing from a house near Thatto Heath in St Helens, Merseyside today.
She was found in the lake near to Shirebrook Close at about 2.22pm after she managed to get out of a house.

Officers pulled her from the lake and gave CPR before paramedics and the air ambulance arrived.
She was rushed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital where she is being treated, police said.
Her family are with her.
