Troops Neutralise 3 Boko Haram Terrorists, Rescue 9 Captives

 

Troops of 21 Armoured Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai, have neutralised three Boko Haram terrorists during a fighting patrol in Bama local government area of Borno State.

The terrorists were neutralised in Churchur village during a fighting patrol by the troops of 202 Battalion from the 21 Armoured Brigade in conjunction with hybrid forces, who also rescued nine hostages.

Intelligence sources, according to Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad, said the troops also recovered two dane guns.

“In a separate operation in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force and hybrid forces, the troops conducted clearance at Angwan Jingina and Bula Marwa on March 30, 2024.

“The troops successfully rescued 9 persons comprising 3 adult females and 6 children.

“The troops equally destroyed the hamlets in the camps of Boko Haram while the terrorists fled,” the sources said.
