Tributes have poured in after the tragic death of a father who was brutally killed in Newcastle.
Andrew Darn, 35, was knifed on Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate on Wednesday, March 27.
The dad suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
A 68-year-old has been charged with his murder and is due in court next month.
Andrew’s family said: ‘He had three loves in his life: work, Steph and the kids, and fishing – not necessarily in that order!
‘He was well-loved by everyone; kind-hearted and soft.’
An investigation into his death is ongoing, Northumbria Police said.
