Daffodils are finally blooming, which can mean one thing and one thing only – countdown to England’s first Bank Holiday weekend of 2024 is officially on.
Easter weekend runs from Good Friday on March 29 to Easter Monday on April 1.
From BBQs in the garden to cracking pink G&Ts in the park – and as much Easter chocolate as humanely possible – it will be a good one.
As always, the four days are packed full of activities.
And as always, forgetting that Tesco’s opening times will be different from usual during this period may scupper plans.
So when will Tesco stores be open during the Bank Holiday weekend? Let’s take a look.

Tesco opening times
First, do bear in mind that some individual stores may have different opening and closing hours.
So, it is best to check on Tesco’s Store Locator on its website before heading out.
Many superstores will remain open from 6am to 10pm on Good Friday and from 8am to 8pm on Easter Monday.
But branches will be closed all day on Easter Sunday, with no opportunities for a quick trip to restock on Pimms.
