Liam Gallagher has confessed he needs to ‘undo’ his years of partying after suffering a litany of health problems.
The Oasis star, 51, has told how he’s on a health kick to ‘undo years of partying’ that left him with an autoimmune condition, as well as arthritis and psoriasis.
In his heyday with the band, the Wonderwall hitmaker was well-engrossed in the party lifestyle but has since admitted to overhauling his lifestyle to get his health back on track.
Liam was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition Hashimoto’s Disease in 2017, and last year underwent a major hip operation to replace joints due to arthritis.
In a new interview, the singer said he needs to ‘get back to reality’ as it’s ‘time to get healthy.’
‘All that stuff that you thought was cool in the early days…it’s time to get healthy. You’ve got to undo all the bad work you’ve done through f***ing getting off your head and all that,’ he told The Sun.

Addressing his joint replacement operation, he admitted he put off having the operation due to the stigma.
He continued ‘I went to get it checked out and my bones are mashed up. The lady was going, “Oh, you might need a hip operation, a replacement.” I think I’d rather just be in pain.
‘Which is ridiculous, obviously. I know that. Just get them fixed. But it’s the stigma, saying you’ve had your hips replaced. What’s next?’
Liam revealed he has cut back on alcohol, stopped taking drugs and gets up at 4am every day.
‘As you get older, life is precious, do you know what I mean? I’m a pretty happy-go-lucky guy. I love waking up early in the morning. I’m definitely on the downward slide, though. But we’re all going to die, aren’t we?’ he said.
One thing that hasn’t changed about the artist, however, is his ability to befuddle fans after he confirmed he was headlining Glastonbury…Then suddenly denied it was ever happening.

Taking to X last month, one fan @phillyrussell got more than they bargained for when he asked Liam on social media: ‘Will we see you and Squire at Glastonbury this summer LG?’
The indie rocker simply replied: ‘Yeah.’
Naturally, everyone freaked out, but days later Liam responded to a fan page declaring he ‘never said I was playing GLASTONBURY everybody COOL OUT.’
He was called out by a fan who insisted he had said just that – to which Liam replied that the fan had asked if they will see him there, ‘I said YEAH and they might, I might be selling CBD Toblerones.’
Alas, Liam was not announced among the first wave of artists to play the iconic Worthy Farm festival, with Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Shania Twain, and SZA all performing across the weekend.
