Three people have miraculously escaped serious injury after a hot air crashed into a power line and sparked a brush fire in the US.
The balloon was blown into electrified cables while trying to land in a field in Minnesota on Wednesday evening, causing part of it to ignite.
Footage shows the basket appearing to snap off from the inflated canvas before plunging to the ground.
Meanwhile, sparks from the ignition fell onto nearby vegetation and caused a minor wildfire.
Two of the people onboard suffered only ‘minor injuries’ while the third was completely unscathed, local police said.
Firefighters were able to put out the wildfire quickly, while the balloon was found two miles away after drifting in the wind.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
