Prince Harry and Meghan have been called huge hypocrites after it emerged the couple may have also manipulated images shared on their social media.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been drawn into the Kate Middleton photo debacle following the withdrawal of the family photo by news agencies after they warned the snap had been ‘manipulated’.
Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery leading to wild speculation, later apologised on social media, saying she ‘occasionally experiments with editing’.
The Sussexes were accused of being hypocrites after a source close to the couple told Page Six that the Photoshop mishap wasn’t a mistake Meghan would ‘ever make’.
Now a podcast episode aired in 2021 has re-emerged, revealing that the black and white photo of Harry and pregnant Meghan in a garden was altered.

The couple’s long-time friend Misan Harriman had previously told how he changed an image of the couple in a meadow to be under a willow tree.
He told the BBC Radio 3 Private Passions podcast ‘it’s amazing what you can do with technology’, adding that that the final image was a result of a ‘virtual shooting.’

Taken during the coronavirus pandemic, he told the couple how to pose before remotely ‘pressing the shutter’ while he was in a different location.
Prince Harry’s biographer Angela Leving criticised the couple, labelling ‘The Sussexes camp’ as ‘huge hypocrites’, The Sun said.
‘A tree was doctored in their photograph to create a special backdrop so how dare their camp say anything about Catherine’s’, the outlet reported.
She added that the criticism of Catherine has been ‘entirely unfair’.
News agencies issued ‘kill notices’ on Catherine’s Mother’s Day photo after they raised issues over strange hand and hair placement, Kate’s zip, lack of wedding ring and wonky steps among others.
The Sussexes were embroiled in a Photoshop saga in 2019 after they were accused of changing their 2019 Christmas card featuring Prince Archie’s face with the couple smiling on the background.
Eagle-eyed commentators claimed on social media that Meghan’s face had been edited because everything else was blurred while her face was sharp.
One claimed ‘Archie’s face was ‘also photo shopped,’ MailOnline reported.
A friend of the Sussexes rushed to quash rumours by posting the original family snap on her Instagram which appeared to be exactly the same photo and adding that she was ‘so proud to have taken the Christmas photo for one of my best friends and her family.’
