Families celebrating Mother’s Day at a Liverpool steakhouse were served a complimentary course of violence on Sunday.
A group of female diners at The Restaurant Bar and Grill in the city centre were filmed squaring up to each other and hurling insults.
Punches began flying in all directions after one of the women launched herself at another.
Onlookers could be heard laughing at the scene before gawping in silence after the brawling stepped up a notch.

One of the women was shoved head-first into a mirror on the wall with a loud thud – still trying to rain down blows as she careered backwards.
One diner is heard saying: ‘She’s punching her head in!’ while another shouts: ‘This is our Mother’s Day!’
As the brawl edged towards another table, a non-combatant was seen trying to shield a young girl from the scrap.
A man with rather different priorities could be seen snatching up a bottle of booze on his table to stop it getting knocked over.

The Restaurant Bar and Grill, which was offering mums a £20 gift voucher with their meals on Sunday, has not commented on the incident.
Merseyside Police said they had not been made aware of the incident.
