A woman has set a new record by demolishing a 30-inch burrito which usually leaves men throwing up and in tears.
Leah Shutkever, 32, devoured the ‘monster’ burrito in 11 minutes at the Mexigo restaurant in Southampton – a whole minute faster than the previous record set 12 years ago.
She already holds 33 Guinness World Records and has a YouTube page dedicated to eating challenges.
The burrito contains a choice of chicken, beef, pork, or veggie chilli and hellfire hot sauce but Leah still managed to demolish it off and left her plate spotless.
It usually costs hungry diners £37.95 unless they eat it in under half an hour.
Leah said: ‘This challenge has been laying dormant for some time now and I felt somebody had to finally step up to the plate.
‘And that somebody may as well be me.
‘This burrito really is a monster.

‘Considering I have broken world records eating burritos, I always consider burrito-eating one of my fortes.’
Talking about the burrito once she finished the challenge, she said: ‘I struggled to get into a flow and couldn’t get a handle on this thing.
‘[But] I’m absolutely over the moon we were able to get the result today – it was incredibly messy, I apologise for that.’
As a result of her win Leah has been placed on the restaurant’s wall of fame and has also won ‘Badass Munchin’ Funker’ T-shirt.
But if a diner reaches 45 minutes the challenger has a picture posted of them on the ‘Epic Fail’ board in the restaurant.

Staff need 24 hours notice to prepare for a challenge.
Ian Rayner, the owner of Mexigo, said: ‘Leah did absolutely fantastically – I have seen grown men cry and throw up in buckets from this challenge and she took this on with ease.
‘People are usually okay until about the last foot of the burrito – then it gets extreme.
‘Most that take on the challenge take at least 25 to 30 minutes to get through it.
‘Leah has now become our record holder – to add to her list of competitive eating wins.’
