A man who appeared on ‘America’s Most Wanted’ has been caught after his daughters launched a campaign to find him on social media.
Ana and Yaneiry Albarran say their father Davie Albarran, 51, sexually assaulted two children and have spent over a year trying to hunt him down.
After 451 days on the run police found him hiding in a shed in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida on Sunday.
The 51-year-old was arrested for sexual battery on a child under 12 and lewd conduct with a child under 12.
After Albarran disappeared, Ana posted on Facebook, publicly accusing him of the crimes and appealing to anyone who might have seen him to come forward.
She wrote: ‘Please share and paint the city with his face. He’s on the run and the cops are looking for him.’
The sisters then launched a campaign to find him on TikTok, where they shared their efforts to track him down, reports MailOnline.

This included putting up billboards, staking out motels, and questioning other family members. They even got their father featured on America’s Most Wanted in December 2022.
In an interview with Florida TV station, WOFL, Ana, who’s in her 30s, said Albarran had also acted inappropriately when she was a child and that other victims have come forward with similar stories.
The sisters have said not all of their family has supported their campaign, with some of Albarran’s siblings allegedly helping to hide him.

After finding out their father had been arrested, the pair filmed a video of them celebrating with their family.
Spraying a bottle of champagne, they shouted: ‘We did it, guys. My father’s in jail. After a f***ing year. Just thank you, because if it wasn’t for ya’ll he would’ve never been found, bro.’
Later speaking to WFTV9, she said she had started screaming and crying in disbelief when she heard the news.
The sisters said it was the ‘greatest feeling in the world’ and that they were ‘his karma’.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said: ‘When he [Albarran] came to Lakeland, we received confidential information. They said, ‘Hey, we know where this dude is.’
‘So we snuck around Sunday night just before midnight in a backyard in Country Haven Drive. Well, it might have been Country Haven Drive, but it was no ‘haven’ for him.’
No information has yet been released regarding his charges or trial.
In December 2022, Sheriff Marcos Lopez described Albarran as ‘trash’ and a ‘monster’, adding that he should be put in jail for 100 years.
