A nine-year-old girl has miraculously survived being stung 500 times by a swarm of bees following a car crash.
Alice Soares Albino crawled out of the car which crashed off a cliff and killed her granddad and great-granddad in Espirito Santo, Brazil, on Sunday.
Her granddad, Jose Pereira Novais, 77, lost control of the car which also killed Alice’s great granddad Paulo Soares Ribeiro, 96.
She was then immediately attacked by a swarm of bees who were disturbed during the car crash.
Rescuers managed to drive off the swarm and take her to hospital where she now remains in a conscious and stable condition.
Her mum who works as a nurse is by her side in the hospital.

Alice’s dad Celso Ruella Albino said: ‘Despite the severity of the car accident, she has practically no scratches.
‘I think what made it worse were the bee stings, due to her bravery in getting out of the car to ask for help.
‘And in the middle of her journey, the bees, the swarm of bees, they started to sting her.’
He claims his daughter survived because of divine intervention and said: ‘Because of the situation there, because of the place where the accident happened, if there had not been a divine action, my daughter would not be here today.’
