Famous Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz the bad guy, has taken to social media to defend Super Eagles player, Alex Iwobi.
DAILY POST reports that Iwobi has faced heavy criticism on the internet by Nigerians following his alleged poor performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nation’s final on Sunday.
Defending the player, Falz stated that every single player that puts on green and white to represent Nigeria at the AFCON match made a sacrifice and does not deserve to be treated badly.
Sharing Alex Iwobi’s picture on his Instagram page on Monday evening, the rapper kicked against cyber-bullying, while expressing his love for the player.
Falz wrote; “We win together, we lose together. Every single player that puts on the green white green to represent us, is making an immense sacrifice and does not deserve to be treated with this much disdain.
“We speak a lot about cyber-bullying but we are so quick to turn against our own. @alexanderiwobi Love you bro! Thank you.”
