A three-day-old baby who was kidnapped by his nanny after she drugged his mum and grandmother has been found alive in a bag on the street.
Little Abdiel de Jesus Partido Chavez was kidnapped from the family home in the Renacimiento neighbourhood in Pachuca, in the Mexican state of Hidalgo, on 25th January.
His nanny, named as Nelly Janeth Ramirez, first reportedly drugged the baby’s family with tea before kidnapping him and stealing three mobile phones and cash.
She reportedly left a threatening note saying she is part of a criminal organisation before fleeing.

After the police received a tip-off for the baby, they went to a residence searching for Ramirez.
The little boy was found two days after the kidnapping in a bag abandoned in the streets of the Guadalupana neighbourhood.
He is in good health and reunited with his mother on 27th January, according to local media.
Ramirez’s partner, who is an active police officer in this municipality, had requested permission to be absent the day Abdiel was abducted and is said to have been an accomplice in the kidnapping.
Delfina Gomez, governor of the State of Mexico, praised the cooperation between Mexican and Hidalgo authorities and said: ‘Collaboration between governments is essential for the well-being of our entities.’
The search for the suspects continues.
