A LEGENDARY sports presenter looks unrecognisable after shedding light on a remarkable throwback video.

The broadcaster has been a common sight for viewers on both ITV and BBC throughout her career.

After starting out as a gymnast, the presenter headed to Durham University to take up a law degree before heading into the broadcast industry.

Having started her radio career in 1992, she joined Sky Sports in 1996 before finding herself at ITV in 1998, where she was seen presenting football including the World Cup and Champions League.

In 2004 she even hosted BBC’s Sport Relief before joining the corporation in 2007.

Since joining the Beeb she has presented a whole host of programs.

These include flagship shows such as Final Score and The One Show.

She has also been an integral part of presenting teams on the coverage of three Olympic Games, three World Cups, the Six Nations, the Commonwealth Games and many more.

The 50-year-old kickstarted BBC’s coverage of this summer‘s Women’s World Cup.

In case you haven’t got it yet, the presenter can be revealed as none-other than Gabby Logan.

In the video from 1991, Logan sported a stunning red dress before telling iconic radio and TV host Gay Byrne her plans for the future while at the Rose of Tralee.

And amazingly it seems she has fulfilled all of her career wishes and more.

Logan retweeted the video with the caption: “Believe”.

Reacting to the video, Chelsea Women boss and ITV pundit Emma Hayes said: “Amazing Gabby. Dream big they say.”

Following Logan’s story of her time at Today, ex-BT Sport presenter Des Kelly revealed: “This clip is great. I was ordered to ‘look after the new work experience girl’ at Today.

“I didn’t swear v.much as I recall, but the Tory Sports Minister didn’t like my questions when we went to a press briefing.

“@GabbyLogan didn’t need any looking after. She knew her path. Bravo .”

One fan wrote: “Not just a broadcaster, one of the best broadcasters right now.”

A second added: “Fair to say the kid did alright.”

“That’s really quite something,” wrote a shocked third.
