Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), stakeholders, Chikun local government area of Kaduna State, Sani Abbas (Sardauna Chikun) has donated N5 million cash and food items also worth N5 million as Christmas gifts to some party members in the area.
At the distribution of the Christmas gift in Kaduna, Dauda Abdulkadir, the coordinator of Azumi Foundation, enjoined all members to embrace the true spirit of Christmas and continue to share love, hope and happiness with everyone they come in contact with.
“As we witness this act of kindness and generosity, let this serve as an inspiration for all of us. Therefore, this Christmas, let us not forget the true spirit of the season, which is all about giving and sharing love,” he said.
He thanked the chairman of the Azumi Foundation for making the event a reality and for the foundation’s commitment to spreading love and joy during the festive season.
He urged all and sundry to extend a helping hand to the less privileged, to share love, and to spread joy during the Christmas season, saying, “It may be through acts of kindness, charitable donations, or simply spending time with those who need it most. By doing so, we can collectively make a positive impact on the lives of others and create a more harmonious and caring society.”
He said it is rare privilege to flag off the distribution of gifts by the Azumi Foundation to their beloved security operatives, market women and political party leaders, stressing that Christmas embodies the ideals of peace, hope, and love for all humanity and served as a reminder for all to extend a helping hand to those who are less privileged and to share the blessings with others.
The Azumi Foundation, he said, had exemplified these ideals by organizing this meaningful event, bringing smiles to the faces of our dedicated security personnel, hardworking market women, and influential political party leaders.
“Our security operatives are the unseen guardian angels who work tirelessly day and night to ensure our safety. They sacrifice their comforts to protect our lives and property, often away from their families during this festive season. The simple act of giving gifts to these brave men and women is a way to express our gratitude for their selfless service and to show that we care for them and equally appreciate their sacrifices,” he emphasized.
