Man Utd 1 Wrexham 3 LIVE RESULT: Paul Mullin HOSPITALISED as Red Devils fall to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s side

MANCHESTER UNITED lost to Wrexham in a huge pre-season friendly for the Snapdragon Cup.

Paul Mullin was injured in the first 20 minutes after colliding with United’s goalkeeper Nathan Bishop, forcing Wrexham’s forward out of the game.

But minutes later, the Red Dragons hammered in their first of the night thanks to Elliott Lee. Soon after, Aaron Hayden doubled the Welsh side’s lead with a header.

Just seconds before the half, United got one back, heading into the break down one.

To start the second half, Daniel Gore picked up a red card for the Red Devils. Following the sending-off, Wrexham tapped in their third of the night off Sam Dalby’s boot.

This was enough to seal the win and for Wrexham to claim their first-ever Snapdragon Cup.

It’s been a memorable tour of the States for Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney‘s newly-promoted Wrexham — and tonight was no different.
