The agent of Arsenal star Jorginho admits contract talks with the club are at a ‘standstill’ amid uncertainty over the midfielder’s future in north London.
Jorginho joined Arsenal from Chelsea last January, signing an 18-month deal with the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the Italian but Jorginho has long desired a return to his homeland, with AC Milan reportedly interested in him.
The 31-year-old has played a bit-part tole this season, starting just four of Arsenal’s 12 Premier League matches.
Nevertheless, he’s still made 14 appearances in all competitions and is valued for his experience, particularly in Europe.

Arsenal are keen on strengthening in midfield in January, with Aston Villa ace Douglas Luiz a priority target.
With Jorginho’s contract expiring at the end of the season, there’s no guarantee that the Italian will be offered a new deal.
And his agent admits there’s currently no movement over a renewal, with talks expected to resume in the new year.
‘Everything is at a standstill,’ said Joao Santos.
‘We’ll think about it after February. However, the priority remains Arsenal.’
