England will set their sights on Euro 2024 after their final Group C qualifying game against North Macedonia on Monday night.

The Three Lions have made light work of qualifying, registering six wins and a draw in their seven fixtures to date.

Their wins include doing the double against Italy, their conquerors in the Euro 2020 final three years ago, with October’s 3-1 triumph over the Azzurri at Wembley clinching their spot in next year’s tournament in Germany.

Their only blemish in qualifying has been September’s 1-1 draw against Ukraine in what was a disappointing performance in Poland.

Gareth Southgate’s men will head into the Euros as one of the favourites, as the men’s national team finally looks to put an end to almost 60 years of hurt on the international stage.

So, with Euro 2024 now just over half a year away, let’s take a look at when the tournament will start, how the group stage draw pots will work and which teams have qualified.

The city’s Volksparkstadion will play host to four group stage games and one quarter-final.

How to watch the Euro 2024 draw

The draw will be streamed live on the UEFA website, YouTube channel and the official UEFA EURO 2024 app, with TV information to be released shortly.

Which teams have already qualified?

Germany, as hosts, have qualified automatically for Euro 2024.

A further 16 teams have qualified, including Steve Clarke’s Scotland, who are set to appear in their second consecutive European Championship.

The final three spots will be determined via the play-offs in March 2024.

The play-offs, consisting of the twelve best performing teams from the 2022/23 Nations League who didn’t qualify for Euro 2024, will feature six semi-finals and three finals.

How will the Euro 2024 draw work?

The 24 teams will be split into six pots of four.

Sides will be placed into one of the six pots based on their results in qualifying, with the exception of Germany, who have been automatically allocated to Group A as the host nation.

The pots will be determined at the end of the qualifying campaign, with the six teams with the best qualifying record placed in Pot 1, the next six in Pot 2 and so on.

The top two teams from each group at Euro 2024 will qualify for the Round of 16.
