Marcus Rashford eased fears that he has suffered an injury after training with England on Sunday afternoon.

The forward limped out of the side’s 2-0 win against Malta on Friday after a collision with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The striker has been out of form this season, scoring just once for Manchester United.

His form is in stark contrast to the form he showed last season, when he managed 30 goals in all competitions.

Nevertheless, United’s goal-shy attack are still reliant on Rashford and they face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, when the Toffees will be in action for the first time since being docked ten points.

And the good news for Erik ten Hag is that Rashford participated in England training on Sunday, meaning he could even feature for the Three Lions against North Macedonia on Monday.
