Parties Deploy 130,093 Polling Agents For Imo, Bayelsa, Kogi Polls

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released a summary of polling unit and collation centre agents submitted by political parties for the Imo, Kogi, and Bayelsa governorship elections.

The summary released by the nation’s electoral body yesterday in Abuja shows that a total of 130,093 party polling unit agents and 7,841 collation agents were submitted to INEC by political parties.

In summary, the All Progressives Congress deployed 2,242 Polling Unit Agents for Bayelsa, 4,721 for Imo, and 3508 for Kogi. They also deployed 114 Collation Agents for Bayelsa, 332 for Imo and 261 for Kogi; the Peoples Democratic Party deployed 2,242 PUAs for Bayelsa, 4,721 for Imo and 3,508 for Kogi and the Social Democratic Party deployed 2,242 PUAs for Bayelsa, 4721 for Imo and 3,508 for Kogi.

In Bayelsa State APC, PDP have 114 collation agents while Labour Party has 113, and SDP has 112.

For Kogi SDP, PDP and APC have 261 collation agents while LP has 72.

Also, in Imo State APC has 332 collation agents, PDP, LP, and SDP have 333.

A total of 13 agents will be at the Bayelsa State Collation Centre, 14 in Imo State Collation Centre, and 12 in Kogi State Collation Centre.

However, LP, APM, AA, AAC, and APP have no agents attached to the Kogi State Collation Centre.

In Imo State AA, ARC, YPP, and PRP have no agents attached to the State Collation Centre.

More so, in Bayelsa State APGA, NRM, YPP, AAC, and APM have no agents attached to the State Collation Centre.
