Pervis Estupinan remains out for Brighton ahead of their trip to Everton this weekend, but Tariq Lamptey is available again for Roberto De Zerbi.

Estupinan has been out since the 6-1 thrashing at the hands of Aston Villa on 30 September and remains sidelined due to a thigh problem.

It had been suggested that he has been close to a return for recent games, but the Ecuadorian has not recovered and De Zerbi confirmed at a press conference on Friday that he will not feature on Saturday at Everton.

However, there is better news for Lamptey, who has recovered from a muscle problem and is available at Goodison Park.

The 23-year-old has not played since an outing in the Europa League at Marseille on 5 October, but will hope to be back in the team this weekend.

Solly March is a long-term absentee for the Seagulls, set to miss the rest of the season due to a knee problem.

Brighton are going through a poor run of results, with two draws and two defeats in their last four outings, although it has been a tough run with games against Villa, Liverpool and Manchester City.

De Zerbi wants to see an improved display at Everton, especially in defence.

‘I’m not happy with our performances, or not enough,’ he said. ‘There are many reasons. We are conceding too many goals. We have to do better.’
