…Reveals what she’ll do with N120 million-prize money

Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, a.k.a Gen Z Baddie, was declared winner of the recently concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show.
Last Tuesday, she was presented with a cheque of N120 million and an Innoson Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) alongside other gifts.
At the prize-presentation ceremony held at Multichoice office, Ilupeju, Lagos, the 22-year-old Ilebaye opened up on her life, winning strategies and regrets, among other issues. Excerpts:
How do you feel winning the Big Brother grand prize?
I’m extremely excited. I have just entered my baddie mood.
Have you ever dreamt of emerging the winner?
I’ve never, never dreamt of winning.
So, what are the strategies you think really worked for you?
I didn’t use any strategy. The only strategy I used was to pray.
When you came onto the show initially, how far did you think you were going to go?
My previous participation in the Big Brother lasted only three weeks. And this time, there were big stars so I thought I was going to stay for only two weeks or maximum three weeks. I didn’t know I was going to stay beyond that let alone emerging the winner.
After exiting the show on Sunday, what was the most surprising impression that you think people had about you while in the house?
I have not really gone into that. Right now, I am emotional and surprised to be declared a winner. I haven’t thought about all that happened in the house. For me, winning is all about being loved.
What’s your current relationship with one of the housemates – Cross?
He’s my guy.
Do you have any regrets?
No, I don’t. The only regret I have is that I wished I had danced much more at the parties, because aside the parties, I don’t think I really danced much in the house. But then, everything was fun and adventure in the house, so I really don’t have any regret.
What lessons did you learn being on the show the second time and then coming out as a winner?
One of the lessons I learnt was never to underestimate myself. Also, I learnt to be prayerful and always believe in myself no matter the situation. Even, if you’ve been a failure before; never stop believing in yourself. Your time will always come.
People call you Gen Z Baddie, what does it mean?
Gen Z Baddie basically means I am young, so it’s more like, ‘my young people, let’s be seen, let’s be heard’. The name means so much to me.
Aside the money, has the winning added any other thing to you?
Yes, the love. Aside the money, the added value is the love I’m getting from people. The love alone is enough for me.
If you have the opportunity of being on the Big Brother show again, would you hop on the platform?
Never! I want to be a Gen Z Baddie voice.
Tell us more about yourself. Who was Ilebaye before the show?
I was a shy, unknown Ilebaye, but now I am a star.
What’s next for you after Big Brother?
I want to build my empire, start my future. I want to make good use of my N120 million-prize money.

Yes, I will. I won’t disappoint you guys.
What advice do you have for the other All Stars housemates?
I want to say I love them so much. I hope we forget what happened in the house. I want us to become friends again and be there for each other.
