The son of Manchester United legend Paul Scholes tore into supporters at Old Trafford for applauding Erik ten Hag’s side following the side’s defeat to Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils continued their dismal start to the campaign by collapsing to a defeat to Roy Hodgson’s side at the Theatre of Dreams.

That’s piled the pressure back on Ten Hag, whose side have lost four in the league already this term.

Aaron, Scholes’ son, was in attendance as United suffered another shock defeat.

Though there were some boos at the end, most United fans applauded the home side as they made their way down the tunnel.

That irked Aaron, who questioned why supporters would applaud the team and labelled them ‘useless c***s’.

‘Who the f**k is clapping those useless c***s off,’ tweeted Aaron.

He then deleted the tweet, but not before many had retweeted his words and grabbed screenshots.

United take on Galatasaray on Tuesday as they look to get their first points in the Champions League group stage.

The Red Devils were beaten by Bayern Munich in their opening match.
