Bendel Insurance of Benin prolific striker, Imade Osarenkho, has secured a four year-deal with the United FC of United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Osarenkho penned the mouthwatering deal with the oil rich club, amidst his campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup for 2023/2024 soccer season.
The striker scored 10 goals for the Benin side last season to top the goal chart for the club and qualify them for the continental competition.
Osarenkho also scored the lone goal that earned the club the victory in the final of the Federation Cup, against Rangers International FC of Enugu in Asaba early this year.
The departure means Insurance would play the second leg of their second preliminary match against RS Berkane without the striker.
The strike scored the first goal of the 2-2 draw in the first leg in Benin.
Confirming the agreement on Monday on their social media page, Insurance wished the striker popularly known as Black Bullet the best in his new found club.
“We announce the departure of our striker,@Imade_Osarenkho (The BLACK BULLET)
“Imade who scored 10 goals in all competitions last season, signed on a 4-year deal for United FC of the United Arab Emirates.
“All the best, THE BLACK BULLET,” announced the club on its X, formerly Twitter, handle.(NAN)
