Sports Minister Wants More Focus On Governance

Sports minister, John Owan-Enoh, has called for more focus on governance, following President Bola Tinubu’s victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday.

Owan-Enoh made the call in a statement signed by his media aide, Kola Daniel, on Thursday in Abuja.

The minister congratulated President Tinubu for his victory at the tribunal, saying it has once again confirmed the president as the winner of the February 25 Presidential poll.

According to Enoh, the former Lagos State governor was the best man Nigeria needs at this critical time and enjoined all Nigerians to support his renewed hope agenda, as he continued on his mandate to bring development to Nigeria.

“I join millions of well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the tribunal.

“It represents a win for Nigeria and a victory for democracy, as the yearnings and aspirations of our people have been upheld by the judgement delivered,” he said.

Owan-Enoh called on Nigerians to join hands with the present administration to move the nation forward, especially after the verdict of the tribunal.

“I call on all individuals to join hands and work for the betterment of our country, as this is the only country we have.

“It’s our collective responsibility to move the country out of the doldrums to greater prosperity. Now that the verdicts have been made, all focus should be on governance,” he added.
