Rasmus Hojlund, Sergio Reguilon and Jonny Evans in Manchester United squad for Arsenal clash

Rasmus Hojlund is in line to make his first appearance for Manchester United (Eamonn and James Clarke)

Rasmus Hojlund, Sergio Reguilon and Jonny Evans have travelled with Manchester United’s squad for their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

Hojlund joined United in a £72 million deal from Atalanta in the summer but has missed the start of United’s season due to back injury.

The 20-year-old resumed full training last week and Erik ten Hag confirmed on Friday that the striker will be available to play against Arsenal.

Reguilon is also in line to make his debut for United after completing his loan move from Tottenham on the final day of the summer transfer window.

Evans was another deadline day arrival at Old Trafford as United confirmed that the 35-year-old, who made 198 appearances in his first stint at the club, has signed a one-year deal.

Also part of the United squad which travelled to London on Saturday was Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who completed his move to Old Trafford on Friday.

Among those absent from the squad were Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay.

Sancho is yet to start a Premier League game for United this season but he has featured as a substitute in all three matches.

McTominay, meanwhile, was heavily linked with a moved with a move away from United in the summer window but ended up staying at Old Trafford.

The Scotland international has played just seven minutes in the Premier League this season.

Among the expected absentees from United’s travelling squad were Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount, Tom Heaton, Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo.

United’s 18-year-old academy midfielder Dan Gore, who was named on the bench for the 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest last weekend, has travelled with Ten Hag’s squad for their trip to Arsenal.
