Premier League clubs were busy splashing the cash on deadline day for the summer 2023 transfer window.

Manchester United took left back Sergio Reguilon on a season-long loan from Tottenham, whilst Erik ten Hag’s men also secured a deal for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir for around £4.3 million.

Matheus Nunes moved to the blue side of the city following the completion of his £53 million deal from Wolves to City, who sent highly-rated academy graduate Tommy Doyle to Molineux in the opposite direction.

Another Manchester City academy star, Cole Palmer, finalised his surprise £42.5 million move to Chelsea, who sold Callum Hudson-Odoi to Nottingham Forest thus ending his 18-year association with the Blues.

Liverpool’s only deal of the day saw the arrival of Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch for £34 million – their third midfield signing of the window after Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Brighton, meanwhile, managed to secure the signing of Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati on a season-long loan.

The 20-year old was once regarded as one of the biggest young talents in the world before injury derailed his development in recent years.

Elsewhere, Mason Greenwood joined Spanish side Getafe on a season-long loan, Tottenham signed Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest for £47 million and Manchester United finally got a loan deal for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat over the line.

Let’s take stock of all of the completed deals in the Premier League on transfer deadline day.
