Mrs Oil, Eterna, Honeywell, UACN others top list of stocks to watch this week

Investors in the Nigerian equities market enjoyed a very profitable week amassing a massive N1.061 trillion in profit on the trading floor of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).

The bourse recorded gains in four of the five trading sessions this week as the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 1.76% to close the week at 101,129.09 from 99,378.06 points recorded the previous week.

The market capitalization increased to N61.3 trillion from N60.2 trillion the previous week.

The performance was buoyed by strong showing from stocks like MRS Oil, Eterna, Honeywell, UACN and others to lay claims to being named as stocks to watch in the new week.

MRS • 180.00 ▴ 4.40 (2.51%)

The current share price of MRS Oil Nigeria (MRS) is NGN 180.00. MRS closed its last trading day (Friday, December 20, 2024) at 180.00 NGN per share on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX), recording a 2.5% gain over its previous closing price of 175.60 NGN. MRS Oil began the year with a share price of 105.00 NGN and has since gained 71.4% on that price valuation, ranking it 41st on the NGX in terms of year-to-date performance.
