The dramatic video showed the nearly catastrophic aftermath when a truck became stuck on a crossing in the Börde district, around 100 miles west of Berlin.

Police confirmed the vehicle was stranded due to a technical defect but the driver only just made a lucky escape.

The trucker was able to make an emergency call and flee the scene and abandon his vehicle in time.

Authorities revealed that the train conductor sustained minor injuries while an intern onboard remained unscathed, according to MDR.

Footage showed how a the train, carrying cars, was unable to stop before slamming into the red truck.

The vehicle was dramatically dragged and pushed by the train causing it to overturn.

This collision also caused construction rubble, which was being carried by the vehicle, to be dashed alongside the track.

The impact from this crash destroyed the train’s locomotive and the truck.

Authorities shut the Marienborn to Belsdorf section of the train line following the horrific accident.

The terrifying crash also impacted some trains from major cities like Hanover and Leipzig.

TRACK SMASH

This terrifying incident has not been the only shocking track crash to be caught on camera.

A pick-up truck was smashed into after the driver ignored warning signs, The Sun has previously reported.

Footage from the train’s cab shows crazed motorist Ivan Nicol, 51, passing through the crossing gates near near Allanfearn in Scotland.

Train driver Pauline Smith said the two-carriage service from Elgin was travelling at around 68mph when the horrifying crash happened on January 31 last year.

Smith said she had around two seconds to react before the Inverness-bound train was going to collide with the jeep.

The shocked woman leapt from her cabin and raced back up the tracks.

Nicol made a last-second escape and walked away uninjured.
