Manchester United are searching for replacements for Altay Bayindir after fears that the goalkeeper will push to leave the club.
The Turkey international joined United from Fenerbahce in 2023 but is yet to make a single Premier League appearance for the club.
He has served as Andre Onana’s understudy this season, making just one appearance in the Carabao Cup.
The 26-year-old, capped ten times for Turkey, is growing impatient for further opportunities.
The Daily Mail say the club are fearful that he will now push to leave the club in the January transfer window.
It’s claimed United are now scouring the market for a new number two to compete with Onana.
Tom Heaton is currently third choice and is expected to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
United are expected to have limited funds to spend in January.
It means players will likely have to be sold before they can buy new players.
It comes after the club spent £200m in the summer transfer window.
They recouped around £110m through the departures of Mason Greenwood, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek.
The club owe around £440m in outstanding transfer fees.
